I enjoyed reading your post and thought you made a strong point about how videos can be effective learning tools when paired with activities. I agree that learners could easily watch a video passively, so I liked how you talked about the importance of reflection and application after watching the video. Your follow up activity asking students to identify examples of racism at the individual, institutional, and structural levels is a great idea and would encourage students to apply the concepts in a more real world way. I also thought your suggestion of adding pauses or reflection questions throughout the video was a good idea too because it creates a more active learning environment. Awesome work!
